I'm not sure why I got into making Elves but I had to make another this time a little girl. I made her using my Elfie Babies pattern found here

i was at South Station on Saturday night, 11pm-ish. There was a HUGE fight between like 10 young men and a security guard. Chairs were being thrown EVERYWHERE, tables flying. Everyone in the station ran outside the doors to avoid getting caught up in it.

MANY of us calling 911 and the 45 minutes I stayed ONE cop showed up. I saw other cops drive up the street to go after the few kids that thought running would be better than waiting, but I was shocked at how few members of law enforcement showed up!

and nothing on the news! WTF!!! i want to know what happened!

here's what i did yesterday...it took ALL day.

i bought these headbands but they needed to be covered. i tried machine sewing sleeves, but they had to be so tiny and it wasn't working.

these sleeves are all 100% cotton, handsewn right onto the headbands. i ADORE how they turned out! they'll have some wool felt flowers sewn on to them, maybe tonight?

I love my new Domo-kun! He's currently rampaging around my desk >_< and my pet bird hates him.

Remember Sackiroth?

I've been making lots more of 'em since then. (It helps that, for example, now I actually know how to do a crochet stitch correctly. *headdesk!*) I haven't had time to turn the various photos I've taken into more "Adventures of Sackiroth" entries, but I've got a ton of photos with them with cosplayers from several cons (including an incredibly adorable picture of a chocobo cosplayer snuggling SackZack, and a Sackboy cosplayer with all of 'em) and I have to dig up the time to code that up one of these days. Probably not until my annual summer work-swampage is done with, though. But since this month's theme is characters, I figure I should at least post a couple of the group shots here...

New Disney Movie is coming,"G-Force" the release date is July 24th....very cute!! Please consider all the little animals that will be purchased by the release of the movie and later become unwanted little pets, sad, but it happens.

Lady's get those hooks a moving, I have a Guinea pig pattern right here, can be made in any color and if you want the long hair version , just crochet with alpaca, then using a stiff brush, hand brush the item when finished. (Very Cute Technique!)
